Overview
Nigeria is among the largest ginger producers globally, with the crop centred on the north-central ginger belt. Sownar sources dried split ginger through aggregators in the producing area, sun-dried and sorted at partner facilities. Nigerian ginger is known for high oil and oleoresin content.
Typical uses: Spice grinding, oleoresin and oil extraction, food manufacturing.
